Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 24 Jul 08

1.  Phil is currently working on a way to make it possible to assign leads to specific lists, based on upcoming events.  That way, if people opt-in to a list months ahead of an upcoming event, like a wedding, they can be followed-up with and warmed-up before they are referred to various wedding services/products.

This would allow for the ALG member to potentially profit repeatedly from certain leads before (and possibly after) they are sold to clients.

2.  Reggie is making himself available to consult on what he’s especially good at – client acquisition.  How and where to contact him is TBD, but quite possibly the forum.

3.  Members provided updates.

4.  Watched 4-minute video on new Campaign Manager feature.  It integrates with Aweber and allows personalization of pages and some pre-fill of forms using tokens and tokenized urls.

This is another step toward the overall goal of consolidating as many features as possible within the ALG interface, while allowing maximum user flexibility and functionality.

Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 17 Jul 08

1.  With a lot of emphasis on CPA lately, all were reminded to check the terms of service for each network as well as each individual offer, before adding them to campaigns.

2.  A few members gave updates on their progress.

3.  Aweber has the capability to format and send RSS feeds to subscribers.  This will be quite helpful, since we are leaning toward using Wordpress blogs as our lead capture/content sites.  In other words, Aweber can take, format and immediately broadcast a Wordpress blog post to a list of subscribers as an RSS feed – automatically.  And since Wordpress can be set to publish posts on a timer, it’s possible to put the whole posting, pinging & feed broadcasting process on autopilot – for as long as content is added.  A demo video is available at: www.aweber.com/camtasia/feedbroadcaster

4.  Still working on consolidating functionality within ALG.  Looking toward maximum flexibility in creating and editing templates and pages with drag and drop ease.  Also working on integrating Wordpress into ALG.  More to follow.

4a.  Watched 3-minute video on how to imbed video (including Camtasia) into lead pages.  Using video usually results in higher conversions, so having this piece added will pay huge dividends for those who use it.

5.  Phil gave the link to the past webinar/training videos:  www.advancedleadgeneration.com/v/AllVideos/AllVideos.html
He said they could be organized and edited better, but for those who wanted to review some of the past training, it is now available in one central location.

6.  Phil mentioned www.BlinkWeb.com as a possible resource for ALG members who want to build their template pages/sites on a true drag and drop interface.  It is a paid solution, but may be preferable, tech-wise, for some folks.

Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 10 Jul 08

Short meeting today.

Began by watching five minute video on new dynamic pages updates.  In the video, Phil demonstrated the new CPA module and features now available in the WYSIWYG editor.  These include the ability to insert media directly into pages, easy swapping-out of templates and the ability to integrate CPA ads.

The previous meetings’ videos will be posted to a central location soon – probably within ALGU.

The central focus of the ALG interface is to centralize as many tasks as possible.   Having “external” pages may not be the right way to go after all.  More to follow on this.

Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 3 Jul 08

1.  Began with a short presentation on The 9 Truths of Life.  Kind of a perspective check on what really matters in life as well as a good motivator.

2.  Member update/review:  Three of four attendees had microphones and gave input on their niche, why they chose it and their progress.  No game-stoppers noted.

3.  Phil spoke of a new module being added – one for CPA offers.  It will have a list of ads from each network to draw from and incorporate a page-view filter to narrow the offers to a specific niche/set of keywords.  More to follow.

4.  Since ALG is a closed affiliate program, only ALG members can promote it.  And soon, ALG members will be getting their own personalized ALG marketing stuff!  Like a cloned salespage, etc., with 30% recurring commissions on a monthly $147 membership.  Sign-up one member and your monthly fees are covered.

Phil also mentioned that he envisioned the members who refer new members to be partially responsible for getting the newcomer settled-in and up to speed on the ALG system, etc.  Not exactly sure how that will work yet, but most likely in conjunction with ALG University.
