Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 28 Aug 08

Phil presented a detailed slideshow of the various functions and options within the Client Manager.  In addition to the original functionality, it now includes a drop-down menu that allow members to select between three filtering options in order to isolate only the specific client or niche they want to administer.

It also now allows members to create and run test campaigns and delete test data from the client’s account.  This allows for full testing AND database cleanup before the client has access to the interface.

The slideshow and accompanying audio was recorded and will be available for members to review shortly.

Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 14 Aug 08

1.  ALG Client services meeting tomorrow at 1PM EST.  It’s basically an intro meeting to discuss what the service offers, Q & A, etc.

2.  Emphasis today on warm-up/follow-up relationship-building techniques, management and functionality.

3.  Phil presented a detailed, step-by-step slideshow demonstrating how to properly create opt-in forms in Aweber – to include custom fields, especially the hidden “unique_ID” field – and then incorporate the form code into the ALG interface.

Also demo’d the Lead Campaigns Manager function in ALG, where users can synch their campaign’s follow-up messages with Aweber, while including the customizations/personalizations contained in the Unique_ID code.

So, when a lead who’s being “warmed-up” clicks on the link custom coded with their Unique_ID, they are directed to a HTML page where all their personalizations are “automagically” built-in, like the page was created for them alone.

This allows for progressive, incremental trust-building, information sharing and data capture.  Thus, with each additional action a lead takes at an ALG member’s direction, the value of that lead increases.

As mentioned previously, while adding the Unique_ID field to each form is recommended (whether used or not), it is entirely optional.

Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 7 Aug 08

1.  ALG Client Services – two levels available:  1. Members provide lists of potential clients to ALGCS and they contact and close deals, or 2.  ALGCS does everything to book clients after initial niche selection is made by the client.  Pricing details are still being worked out.

2.  Member updates.

3.  Lead Message Campaigns function is now incorporated into ALG – with custom connectivity to Aweber.  It allows for dynamically added and pre-filled/personalized message pages to be auto-generated (based on pre-set tokens) when a lead clicks a link in an email message.  This is the ideal system for leads that must be “warmed-up” prior to being sold to a client.  It allows an ALG member to gradually collect more and more data on a lead, over-time, while providing useful content, building trust and ultimately, building the lead’s confidence to commit to a purchase.  It is then that they are of the most value to a client – AND to the Lead Genner.

Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 31 Jul 08

1.  Lead Page Update – Phil is still working on a way to use hidden fields within Aweber forms to allow list segmentation based on pending event dates.  In other words, having all leads on the same list, but with different event identifiers, which will be done through the use of hidden fields.  Should make list management much easier for event-based niches.  More to follow.

2.  Members provided updates

3.  Tried to watch pre-recorded video, but it wouldn’t play.  The link to the video was provided.  The video focused on back to basics use of ALG.  Highlighted the speed and ease of the Lead Page Editor and recommended that basic page layouts are best built first on an external program first and then edited and tweaked via the ALG interface.

The Lead Page edit feature includes the ability to add meta data, top and bottom tracking code insertion and one click copying of an entire site’s pages.  Rapid copying is perfect both for archiving as well as cloning lead gen sites.  Also allows for easy selection and uploading of images and drag and drop placement anywhere on a page.  Emphasis on getting pages up!  Phil said he would help build pages for anyone that needs it – just ask.

4.  Phil spoke about the new ALG Client Services site he just launched in collaboration with Reggie Ike, who is the lead consultant.  Mark Vurnum is also promoting this service.  The new site is at: www.ALGClientServices.com.  The service will be focusing on what seems to be the most difficult part of the Lead Gen business – signing new clients.  Pre-launch members will not only get first crack at this new service, but will also be given the lowest rates.  The full range of services and pricing are still being worked out, but should be available soon.  Webinar on the subject to be conducted tomorrow.
