Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 28 May 09

Agenda Items:

1. Lead Delivery Options
2. Niche Distribution
3. Lead Rules
4. What’s Next
5. Thanks

1. Lead Delivery Options - There are four ways to identify clients on a lead page: lead page definition, the forms list, the form client ID and via lead rules (new feature).

Phil demo’d how to set each of these options.

2. Niche Distribution - Went over the auto-delivery setting within ALG that blasts each lead out to all clients within that niche.

It is assumed that only rarely will leads be mass distributed to multiple clients, so members are advised to use caution with this feature and ensure it is left in the off or “no” position.

3. Lead Rules - Phil demo’d how the new Lead Rules function works. It can be used to create specific lead delivery rules, based on unique designators like zip codes.

So, a lead generated with an input that correlates to a specific rule (like zip code) will be automatically segmented and delivered to only a specific client – presumably a client in that zip code.

Lead Rules Client Delivery Precedence:

1a. Form Client
1b. Lead Rules
2. Lead Page Client
3. Niche Clients (blasts to all clients within niche)

Further explanation of these precedence options will follow in future tutorials.

And eventually, everything will be done from within the ALG interface, including installing and managing multiple Wordpress lead blogs.

4. What’s Next - Since pretty much all the pieces are now together to effectively generate leads, the next things to do are advertise and contact clients to sell leads to.

5. Thanks - As usual, thanks for attending.

Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 21 May 09

Agenda Items:

1. PPC Setup
2. PPC Ads
3. PPC Output
4. Phil’s Rant/Pep Talk
5. Thanks

1. PPC Setup - Phil went over the PPC Campaign Manager.

He stressed the need to input the exact file name for the blog’s landing page into the related field in ALG.

Also, the campaign name must be the same as the name in your Adwords account for things to work properly.

Selection of the blog is also critical, because the ALG PPC system generates the output links based on the selected blog’s domain name.

In other words, the keyword-rich, niche-specific (hopefully) domain name is automatically incorporated into the output links.

Also, the built-in tracking system within ALG will help to determine the best converting terms in our campaigns, so we can maximize ROI.

2. PPC Ads - Went over the ad fields within ALG and clarified how keyword tokens are used.

They are used to auto-replace certain words within the ads, based upon the exact term the searcher typed in.

Using this sort of technology is what helps us to get high landing page scores and low cost per click rates with only a minimum of work.

3. PPC Output - Phil showed how the PPC Campaign Manager’s output looks (after all required variables are previously input, of course) in the ALG interface and then after being imported into Adwords Editor.

He also showed how the data looked in his Adwords account after being uploaded via Adwords Editor.

Quality scores for all ads were at either 7 or 10 (i.e. all green), without doing anything else, proving that the system does work quite well right now.

4. Phil’s Rant/Pep Talk - We’re all in this together.   And by working together we can maximize our results. We’ve worked hard to get here, so let’s not slow down now. Let’s GO!

5. Thanks - As usual, thanks for attending and for sticking with it. Very exciting times ahead…

Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 14 May 09

Agenda Items:

1. Setup Details Overview
2. Field Specifics
3. Thanks

1. Setup Details Overview –

A. ALG - Phil briefly went over each screen required for the basic setup of ALG.  These included Blog, Niche and Client info screens.

Completing these fields is the minimum requirement in order to get ALG to interface properly with the blog and Aweber.

B. Blog - Phil reviewed each of the four custom plugins he created for this system:

1. WP-Landing Page - Controls lead page display and ALG capture integration.

2. WP-Personalize - Provides page and post personalization.

3. WP-Forms Manager - Central manager for WP forms and autoresponder integration.

4. WP-PDF - Provides dynamic assembly, personalization and delivery of PDF incentive reports.

Also went over the various default pages in Wordpress.

They are: Long Form Capture Page, Privacy, About, Thank You and Download.

Phil also reiterated that we’ve switched to a single long-form capture process, rather than the more complicated two-step process we had been working on.

2. Field Specifics - For the form html, first select the client list, then select the blog and redirect page within ALG.

The specific, customized code is then available to be copied and pasted into the corresponding WP Forms Manager plugin field.

For autoresponder setup, first create a list in Aweber, then create the custom fields according to the pre-established list in WP Forms Manager.

Then, get the form number and exact list name from the html view of the form in Aweber and paste that info into the WP Forms Manager plugin as well.

Also, make sure that the option ALG + Aweber is toggled on in the “form action” drop-down menu, or the capture process won’t work properly.

While in Aweber, create two messages – the optin confirmation message with the parsed link to their free report and the first normal message.

3. Thanks - Phil thanked members for attending and for their hard work.

Truth About Network Marketing Lead Generation

What is the best way to get a network marketing lead? There are several ways. One way to get your network marketing lead generation is by placing an ad in a shoppers newsletter like Penny Saver.

It is better to generate a network marketing lead to recruit people to work under you than to use it to sell products because a new recruit from a network marketing lead can generate more income. Also considering that new recruits will refer other recruits to you, the potential return for advertising for a recruit will be even higher.

What other ways can you use to get a network marketing lead? There are several no cost approaches that work well. One way is to place a sign on bulletin boards, such as in the local supermarket, to get a network marketing lead. The sign should have tear off sheets with your phone number so people can contact you. Placing a promotional sign in any high traffic area like a grocery store is always effective.

Another no cost way to generate a network marketing lead is to place signs on corners where two highly busy roads meet. Make the sign big enough so drivers can see it and use some type of attention getting headline at the top of the sign. One possible headline might be “Out of work? Make money working from home!”

Of course, online advertising may be a good way to get an online marketing lead as well.. And online advertising does not necessarily have to cost you any money. For example, you could place an ad online at free classified ad sites. You could also write articles about what you sell, distribute them across the Internet, and then link back to a sales page within the resource boxes that are allowed for article submissions.

To figure out what a network marketing lead is worth, you need to keep tracking how many leads you get and how much business that generated. For more ideas on how to get a network marketing lead, you should seek the advice of other people who are successful doing that. Why reinvent the wheel? When it comes to getting a network marketing lead learn from others who are good at it.

Personally, I prefer the method of creating an information web site, that provides good, useful information for the reader and does so on a regular basis. How does that get leads for you? We’ll, your readers keep coming back for additional information and a level of trust is developed between you and your readers.

Somewhere during that period of trust you will be asked advise on what is a good business to get into and what works. If you are involved in a business, it presents the right time to offer your business opportunity. The fact they trust you is half the battle and more than likely join your opportunity. Be sure what you are offering is a good business opportunity and it does work. Be sure to advise your lead that any business opportunity requires work, investment and dedication.

Prelaunch Webinar Minutes – 7 May 09

Agenda Items:

1. Capture Process Update
2. Remaining Setup Details
3. What’s Next
4. Thanks

1. Capture Process Update – After speaking with Kerry, Phil decided that the best way for us to start is also the least complicated.

So, for starters, the lead capture process will be a long form on a single page, rather than the two-stage process we had initially designed.

Individual members can still choose the two-stage process if they like.  Both methods will be available for every lead campaign in every niche.

2. Remaining Setup Details – For the form html, select the client list, then select the blog and redirect page and then the code is available to be imported into the WP Forms Manager plugin.

For autoresponder setup, first create a list, then create the custom fields according to the pre-established list in WP Forms Manager.

Get the form number and exact list name from the html view of the form in Aweber and paste that info into the WP Forms Manager plugin, too.

Also, make sure that the option ALG + Aweber is toggled on in the drop-down menu, or the capture process won’t work properly.

While in Aweber, create the optin confirmation message with the parsed link to their free report.

3. What’s Next – Wordpress MU (multi-user) looks to be the way we want to go to manage our growing collection of blogs. It allows for multiple blogs to be administered from a single interface.

Having a properly interlinked blog network will pay huge dividends for all of us in terms of free leads via SEO.

4. Thanks – Phil thanked members again and said to keep pushing to get everything ready.  Exciting times ahead!
