When A Work At Home Job Finds You Through Networking

It’s the best work at home job case scenario to have other than having a work at home job opportunity handed to you with your name on it. Very quickly it can become discouraging and frustrating when you are constantly applying for positions and not getting any immediate results. Competition in the work at home field is extremely fierce, competitive and tough.

Did you know there are other ways to find a work at home job and networking is the single most effective method?

Yes!

Networking is very important, powerful and when it’s done properly it’s a huge benefit. When you network on work at home forums, your focus should not be on getting a job, but you should be focused on making connections and making friends. These friends you engage with may know someone who is looking for help in their business or they themselves may need your assistance down the road. Think of these friends as your referrals and your word-of-mouth because building solid business relationships is a two-way street.

Ask questions and engage in the discussions on the forums. By sharing your experiences or offering your knowledge, it’s one way for others to get to know you. If you’re a helpful person by nature karma will come back to you. For instance, if you found a job lead you weren’t qualified for, pay it forward and eventually someone will send a job lead your way. If you’re well-liked by the community, it’s that much easier for people to think of you first when a job lead comes about or help is needed.

Be consistent and visit work at home forums often. You don’t want to be lost or be forgotten. Forums also offer a field of opportunities and you never know when it’ll be there so you don’t want to miss them.

Other places to network are on social networks. These include Ryze, Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo or MSN groups and so on. You will find many people who network on forums also use social networks. Get to know the groups before you join them to see if it’s the right fit for you.

It’s not unheard of to have a work at home job unexpectedly fall into your lap because I wasn’t searching for my most current job. The work at home job found me through consistent networking and building relationships on various work from home forums.

Get yourself out there and start networking.

Pre-Launch Webinar Minutes – 23 Jul 09

Agenda Items:

1.  Foreclosure Project Update
2.  WP Overview
3.  WP/ALG Integration
4.  Phil’s Rant
5.  What’s Next?

1.  Foreclosure Project Update – Phil, {FIRST_NAME}, David and Steve met earlier today to discuss questions and concerns about the foreclosure opp.  Both Phil and {FIRST_NAME} gave their views on how this opportunity is shaping up so far.

Unfortunately, there are still quite a few things to work out, but we’re making progress.  More meetings scheduled in the next week.

2.  WP Overview – A very basic review of Wordpress.  Went over descriptions and screenshots of the dashboard, posts, pages, plugins, site nav options, WP Landing Page Plugin settings, categories, Reading settings (static front page vs std. blog), etc.

3.  WP/ALG Integration – Another quick refresher.  Went briefly over how Wordpress links to ALG and landing pages on other sites.  Showed a few screenshots.

4.  Phil’s Rant – Kerry is having success with signing-up clients – so it CAN be done!  Thanks as always for sticking with this.  Failure is not an option.

5.  What’s Next – Send out written letters by postal mail to prospective clients you’ve hand-selected.  Offer a free trial of 3 to 5 leads.  After that, charge approx. $25 (or more) per
lead.

Pre-Launch Webinar Minutes – 16 Jul 09

Agenda Items:

1.  Foreclosure Project Update
2.  SMS Notifications
3.  RSS Lead Delivery
4.  Event API
5.  Phil’s Rant
6.  What’s Next?

1.  Foreclosure Project Update – Phil, {FIRST_NAME}, David and Steve are to meet soon to discuss questions and concerns about the foreclosure opp.

It looks like David is going to be the “lead closer” for the leads we generate – at least initially.

2.  SMS Notifications – Due to email deliverability problems, Phil has begun configuring ALG to support SMS (instant messaging) notifications to clients of new leads delivered.

3.  RSS Lead Delivery – Along with the SMS notifications, clients will have access to notifications and actual lead delivery via RSS.  RSS is far more reliable than email for message delivery.

This will be available to clients through a unique URL.  Also looking at URL password protection for extra security.

“Action links” will allow clients to mark their leads after they take an action, as well as auto-forward leads to the next step after they complete an action.

Phil demo’d what a list of leads would look like if accessed in the Google RSS reader.  More to follow as progress is made.

4.  Event API – An API or Application Programming Interface, will allow for ALG to communicate with outside sites.  Phil is working on one for use (initially) in the foreclosure market.

It will track actions taken by leads in an audit trail format.

It also provides for revenue sharing and direct, “cash and carry” lead sales to any site.

The only requirement will be to add a small script to any site that wishes to participate. The script simply allows for the API to work.

5.  Phil’s Rant – Keep your goals in front of you!  Thanks.

6.  What’s Next – Look for sites of potential clients.

Benefits of a work at home program

There is one word that many people wonder about and I’m sure that it’s one of the reasons you clicked on this article. The word I’m talking about is work at home program . This word is used to describe a regular person who is earning pretty decent incomes from the comfort of their home.I believe the reason you are so interested about working from home is because you understand its possibilities and are curious about the benefits.

One of the best benefits of a work at home program is being able to spend a lot of time with your family. If you have kids you could save so much money by not having to send them to a daycare. You will be able to see your kids grow up.

Another benefit of a work at home program is the flexibility. You don’t have set hours that you have to be at work. You can take the kids to a doctor’s appointment or eat lunch with them at school. You could meet your spouse for lunch as well.

Being able to provide a great financial boost to your family and being able to be there for them sums up the beauty of a work at home program .The easy part is deciding you want to work from home. It gets a little bit tougher trying to decide what business you want to pursue. You have to find out what you are good at.

Once you find something you are good at you simply get your plan together and start working your tail off. The sooner you decide you what to work from home and come up with a business plan, the sooner you will be able to reap the benefits of a work at home program.

You also have to make sure the work at home program you want to use is scam free. They are so many companies that prey on the work from home crowd. You have to be able to trust the information you are getting. When I first started out trying to work from home I got scammed often.

That is the main reason I am writing this article is to prevent other people from getting scammed and to offer some helpful advice. By me learning the hard way I will be able to show you a much clearer path to a work at home program. All you need to do is take action.

Pre-Launch Webinar Minutes – 9 Jul 09

Agenda Items:

1.  Capture Forms
2.  Aweber Setup
3.  Phil’s Rant
4.  What’s Next?

1.  Capture Forms – Phil went over the internal workings of how forms work, what they communicate and how – from a coding view.  He overviewed specific form elements, inputs and controls.

Next, he showed a form he created and the raw code of the same form.  He explained which parts of the code affects the form.  He then showed how he builds forms inside a table and then adds another table within the form code.  Doing it this way allows for easy manipulation of the various fields within the form.

To create the form HTML, select client list within ALG, select the blog and redirect page, select Form HTML, which will generate the HTML code, then copy and paste the code into WP
Forms Manager plugin within the Niche Selection field.

2.  Aweber Setup – He showed the custom fields within Aweber that correlate to the dental niche, ALG and the forms we are using.

Client assignment can be done in one (or both) of two ways:  Assignment via ALG blog leadpage definition, or selection on the capture form dropdown menu.  Both methods can be used together.

Keep in mind that client selection can be any list of items – service types, locations/zip codes, accepted insurance types, etc.

3.  Phil’s Rant – No rant today due to Phil feeling under the weather. (<;

4.  What’s Next – Carefully select five keywords, create an article for each keyword (5 articles), create separate pages for each article (5 pages), upload them to another site/domain and link back to the blog via keyword-specific contextual links within the pages.

Phil has seen some authority sites do very well with this technique.
