C. Generate Trial Leads - generate some leads in the niche to send as trials.

D.  Client Receives Emails - trial leads are linked to the personalized client page on the client blog.

2.  WP Wizard - Phil briefly went over the improvements to the wizard within the Blog Information screen.

He added a section called Blog Settings that allows entries for header, footer and ecover graphics files.  This is just one more thing we can do within ALG for any of our blogs.

3.  Blog Manager – Pages - Phil went over the changes and look of personalized client pages.

He displayed the tokens that are available for in-depth personalization and showed how the blog pages are displayed both in the wizard and in the seperate pages view.

He showed the Page Details screen and explained how to establish, maintain, clone or edit templates.

He also showed what a pre-populated form might look like now that we have that functionality and also went over and displayed the various template options, regarding display, personalization and navigation.

Phil went over the custom ALG plugins again, briefly describing what each one does:

A.  WP-API - This is the most important plugin of them all, as it allows for remote access and publishing to our blogs via the ALG control panel.

B.  WP-Personalize - Personalizes blog pages and posts.

C.  WP-Validate - Main data capture plugin, provides form validation and blog connection to Aweber and ALG.

D.  WP-Pagelinks - Controls which tabs / pages are displayed on specific blog pages.

E.  WP-FormsManager - Handles form control and page display.

4.  What’s Next, Phil’s Rant, Thanks -

A.  What’s Next - Phil again reminded members to have two domains for their Lead Gen business.  One for the lead capture site and the other for the client access to the leads.

Phil will meet with all members one-on-one in the next few days and he’ll help us get the final pieces in place.

If you haven’t already, research and enter into ALG a list of potential clients you want to try trial leads with.

Generate postcards or letters to mail to potential clients.  You can use the built-in list export function in ALG to prepare the list for a printing service, if you like.

Finally, begin to generate the leads via PPC, so you can offer the potential clients a few to try your service.

B.  Phil’s Rant - no rant today.

C.  Thanks - as always, thanks for attending and for sticking with it!  We’re on the brink of huge success!

Pre-Launch Webinar Minutes – 4 Mar 10

Agenda Items:

1.  WP Wizard

2.  WP Plugins

3.  WP Page Templates

4.  WP Page Navigation

5.  What’s Next, Phil’s Rant, Thanks

Those tabs now are: Blog, Mail, Plugins, Forms, Pages, Categories, Articles, Links, Options and Admin.

2.  WP Plugins - Phil showed via screenshot the plugins list of a blog that can be seen and manipulated within ALG.

He reiterated the changes with the ALG plugins, including the new WP-API plugin as well as the new superscript ALG designation at the end of his custom plugins, which resembles the trademark symbol.

3.  WP Page Templates - Phil showed screenshots of the updated and improved dental page templates.

He mentioned that he is working to make any page to be used for our lead gen business as drag and drop easy as possible in the coming weeks.

This will allow for rapid lead campaign creation and deployment, something that was previously quite time consuming and challenging.

4.  WP Page Navigation - He also showed the various menu configurations/displays now possible within Wordpress, as well as how the personalization function looks on an actual page.

5.  What’s Next, Phil’s Rant, Thanks -

He also briefly went over what the three tickboxes in the Site Page Menu Options screen do, with regard to which menu items display on which pages.

c.  Thanks - lost connectivity at the end, but thanks to all for attending, as always!

Pre-Launch Webinar Minutes – 25 Feb 10

Agenda Items:

1.  Getting Clients

2.  WP Page Templates

3.  Client Postcards

4.  What’s Next, Phil’s Rant, Thanks

1.  Getting Clients - Phil went over the steps we’ve been working on to get clients.  They are:

a. Identify clients via PPC ads
b. Enter them into the ALG system
c. Setup your client blog
d. Generate trial leads for clients
e. Follow-up with clients

He explained his recommended process and included screenshots of some of the PPC ads and one of the sites they lead to.

2.  WP Page Templates - Showed screenshots of updated and improved dental page templates.

He also showed the various menu configurations/displays now possible within Wordpress, as well as how the personalization function looks on an actual page.

Phil said he’s going to help each of us to get everything set-up properly and working.

3.  Client Postcards - Postcards should be used to introduce ourselves, not to try and sell.

Phil is working to get the ALG system configured to allow us to download a CSV file with all the mailing info that we can upload to a postcard site.  He’s currently researching mailing
services.

4.  What’s Next, Phil’s Rant, Thanks -

a.  What’s Next - Phil asked attendees to have two domains for their lead Gen business.  One for the lead capture site and the other for the client access to the leads.

All are asked to meet with Phil ASAP and he’ll help us get the final pieces in place.

If you haven’t already, research and enter into ALG a list of potential clients info who you’ll mail your postcards to.

After you’ve done that, you can generate the CSV list to be used with an online printing & mailing service, so that you can start contacting your prospective clients.

b.  Phil’s Rant - Your mission: get your domains prepared, install Wordpress on both domains, install the ALG WP-API plugin in each blog, schedule a 1 on 1 with Phil.

c.  Thanks - as always, thanks for sticking with ALG!  Lesser beings would have bailed by now! We’re definitely on the home stretch now…

Phil used the last few minutes of the meeting to do a live screen-sharing demo of a few things he had previously spoken about.

Pre-Launch Webinar Minutes – 4 Feb 10

Agenda Items:

1.  Live Demo

1.  Live Demo - After some technical difficulties, Phil managed to get everyone on both Skype and YuuGuu, for a live walk through and demo of new ALG screen views and functions.

Due to the size difference between the recording screen and the display screen, some portions of the presentation are not fully visible during playback of the webinar.

Since we were all live on Skype, it was also an excellent Q and A session.
